Prerequisites

Before building a Micronaut application, you have to set up your development environment.

Ensure you have installed the following softwares.

  • JDK 17
  • Gradle or Maven
  • Docker
  • A text editor or IDE, eg. VSCode, Intellij IDEA Community/Ultimate, NetBeans, Eclipse with JEE bundle.
